Plant Controller Responsibilities Handle product costing, standard cost setting, BOMs, inventory counts, valuation, and variance analysis.Act as the primary point of contact for cost accounting matters, supporting and advising the leadership team.Perform ad-hoc analysis, KPI reporting, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Engage with supply chain, manufacturing, and senior leadership to develop and maintain internal relationships.Maintain high levels of engagement with the broader business to ensure alignment and integration of cost accounting functions. Plant Controller Qualifications Must have manufacturing or directly related industry experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.At least 5 years of relevant experience. Proven experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and production variances.Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas, etc.).Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
