General Description
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing complex contracts and agreements for various purposes with clients, vendors and partners. Provide legal advice and guidance to the business on contract:related matters, such as compliance, risk management, dispute resolution, cybersecurity, data privacy and other procurement matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
Drafting contracts, agreements and other commercial and transactional documents that are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and policies and that are in the best interest of the company
:
Reviewing contracts prepared by other parties and identifying any potential risks, issues, or inconsistencies.
:
Negotiating contracts with other parties and ensuring that the terms and conditions are fair, reasonable and beneficial for the company.
:
Managing contracts throughout their lifecycle and ensuring that they are properly executed, filed, updated, and terminated.

Develop and implement company policies and procedures for contract management and administration
:
Monitoring the performance and compliance of contracts and resolving any disputes or problems that may arise.
:
Advising the business on the legal implications and consequences of the contracts and providing guidance on best practices and strategies.
:
Researching and analyzing the relevant laws, regulations and industry standards and staying updated on any changes or developments.
:
Collaborating and communicating with other legal professionals, business units, and stakeholders involved in the contracts process.
:
Performing any other duties assigned.
Education
Juris Doctor from an ABA:accredited law school.
Certifications/ Licenses
Admitted to practice law and licensed as a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience as an in:house or law firm counsel focused on contract and corporate law.

Work Schedule
Monday:Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Must be available to work extended hours, holidays and weekends (if necessary).
