TPF Recruitment is proud to be representing a fast-growing firm of chartered accountants based in Brighton. We are on the lookout for an experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business that values work-life balance, offering flexibility for those with caring responsibilities or other needs.
Key Responsibilities: Communicating directly with clients and business owners via email and telephone
Using software to send statements and maintain accurate records (training provided)
Collaborating with internal managers, partners, the Head of Finance, and the CFO
Developing and managing payment plans
Resolving customer queries and escalating where necessary
Processing card payments
Managing escalations of debtors for legal action when required
RequirementsAbout You: Our ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit Control
Familiarity with legal procedures (desirable but not essential)
Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience working within a B2C environment
Previous accounts experience (desirable but not required)
