New hire experience:
1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the requirement, up to a ten-year maximum
New hire education:
1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or
higher degree if not required for the position

OVERVIEW:
To perform custodial duties as required by district standards; to maintain the cleanliness and safe conditions of a school environment
QUALFICATIONS Knowledge of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures Ability to work independently, under pressure and follow directions Ability to perform heavy manual labor as required Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with staff members Satisfactory work record High School education or GED preferred Ability to communicate effectively DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform custodial duties as required by district standards Perform many diversified tasks each day to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the schools Operate custodial power equipment Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit Regular and on-time attendance required Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities SUPERVISION
