JDA TSG has immediate opportunities for **SQL experts** to join our team as Customer Engineers (CE's) supporting a critical client relationship. A CE's time is dedicated to working with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, usually F1000. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of Active Directory initiatives. CE's work with and assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. This job has proven to be a career accelerator for hundreds of engineers over the years. **Travel:**
CE's are home based, due to the impact of COVID, nearly all deliveries are completed remotely however, some travel may be required.
**Primary work includes:**
Standard Product Work Shops - Training
In-Depth Product Reviews - White Board (Chalk Talk) Sessions
Health Checks / Assessments
Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
Product Upgrade / Migration Assessments
Systems Performance Reviews
Act as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support, and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management
**The Experience you'll need to excel in the role:**
Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically with the following: power bi (300-400 level), SQL performance and tuning optimization (300-400 level), core sql + migration on prem and cloud (300-400 level), Azure data lake (200+ level), Azure data factory (200+ level) and synapse
Strong Business Acumen /Business Focused Technology Application
Candidates must be able to work independently.
All versions of SQL Server back to 2012
Solving performance problems, query tuning and optimization.
Delivering and/or authoring technical training
SQL programming skills in one of the following: SQL, VB, VBA, C++, VJ++, VBS, Jscript, HTML/DHTML.
SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services
Active Directory (architecture, design, disaster recovery and problem solving), IIS and ISA.
Debugging skills in the Windows Platform
Up to date with Windows 10 client
Expert level of Microsoft enterprise software product offerings
Network captures and network troubleshooting
PowerShell V2 skills including scripting
Effective learning skills, Works well in a team environment
Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred
