Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Data Conversion Lead within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Data Conversion Lead is both a leader and an active contributor for all activities below:
Acts as a thought leader in discovery and requirement gathering sessions.
Provides leadership during design sessions and technical reviews with clients.
Leads the implementation of data ingestion pipelines and migrations from client legacy environments.
Collaborates with Voyatek and client business and technology departments to develop solutions that are efficient and reusable across the organization.
Coordinates with client personnel and third-party vendors to structure communications, processes, and client training.
Produces written deliverables for requirement specifications and support documentation (includes formal process mapping, meeting minutes, glossaries, data dictionaries, non-functional requirement specifications, technical design, systems testing, and implementation activities).
Troubleshoots issues in reports related to data.
Monitors report request queues and provides end-user support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analysis or other related field
10+ years of experience with developing and supporting legacy system data conversion projects
10 + years of experience with data analysis, data mapping, and reporting data issues
Experience with reviewing, understanding, and modifying ETL code
Experience leading a team of 3 +
Ability to clearly articulate and communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
Experience with SQL queries, Python, ETL, Excel, and databases (knowledge of NoSQL databases desirable, but not required)
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $157,900 to $254,400.
