Data Scientist (Automation Engineer) Mumbai Central, Maharashtra, India

We are looking for an experienced and talented Data Scientist (Automation Engineer) to join our dynamic Data Science team. This role involves leveraging your advanced skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), cloud computing (AWS), and web development to create sophisticated data-driven solutions tailored for the investment banking sector. You will lead projects, and collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to identify challenges, gather and analyze data, and develop machine learning models that enhance efficiency and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced data-driven solutions using NLP, cloud computing, and web development technologies.Lead the automation of data collection, processing, and analysis workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify data-driven opportunities, and translate them into actionable projects.Collect, clean, and analyze complex data sets to uncover trends and insights.Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve intricate business problems.Collaborate with engineers and analysts to integrate data solutions into existing systems.Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance.Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science, automation, and financial technologies.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or PhD is a strong plus.5+ years of experience in a data-driven role (e.g., data scientist, research scientist).Extensive experience with NLP techniques (e.g., sentiment analysis, topic modeling).Proficiency in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.Strong experience with web development frameworks like React or Flask.Understanding of accounting principles and financial data analysis.Exceptional programming skills in Python; proficiency in R is a strong plus.Expertise in automation tools and frameworks.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead projects and work effectively within a team.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
