Job Title: Data Specialist
Reports to: Seroprevalence Project Manager
Location / Hours: San Juan, Puerto Rico / Full-Time
Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract (2 months contract)
Purpose
The Data Specialist will provide support in the quality aspects and data analysis of the seroprevalence study. This resource will be responsible for supporting the Training Data Specialist with tasks related to data collection, quality and analysis. Also, this person will be part of the personnel stationed in the Operations Center during the implementation of the Project.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Participate in all project-required trainings related to data collection, quality, and analysis.
Assist in the data collection processes.
Coordinate the work of the personnel assigned to handle the data.
Assist in data cleansing processes.
Assist in data processing and analysis.
Assist in the required reports.
During the study's implementation, he/she will be based at the Operations Center, working alongside the research and data analysis team.
Perform other tasks related to the project as requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Technical Job Requirements
Basic knowledge of the Survey platform 1,2,3.
Knowledge of the CAPASI methodology.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to learn new systems/tools as necessary.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
Knowledge in EpiInfo, RStudio, STATA or SPSS.
Experience in the use of tablets, computers, Internet and MS Office 365 especially in advanced excel.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, or related area.
Experience in data collection, quality and analysis in projects with a high volume of data.
CITI certification is a plus.
