Our company is built upon the talent and experience of our associates, and we are looking for a semi-skilled individual with relevant experience to join our team.JOB SUMMARY: This individual will work under limited supervision, performing a variety of general facilities cleaning, grounds, and maintenance related tasks non-technical in nature. This position requires the use of some specialized skills in the area of general maintenance. Tasks and assignments are basic in nature, however diverse, and require limited analysis.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilities cleaning responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Empty trash/recycling containers as directedSpot clean main entrance and door glass dailySpot clean and check/restock all restrooms 2X/daySpot clean and check/restock all kitchenettes General maintenance responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain building, performing minor painting, plumbing, electrical, and other related maintenance activitiesPerform routine minor preventive maintenance tasksLight and lamp replacement throughout facilityNotifiy IFS Regional Manager concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipmentOther duties include, but are not limited to: Distribute UPS, FEDX, and other special delivery items to the proper locationsMaintain neatness and cleanliness of groundsPolice grounds and flower beds (weeds) dailyMaintain mulch bedsSweep parking lot and sidewalks where neededSnow and ice removal of sidewalks and entrancePerform other duties as directed by the IRS Regional Manager or Client Management.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent OR Trade School CertificateMinimum of two years' experience in related workKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic administrative skills, including basic computer skillsKnowledge of and ability to use hand toolsGood communication skillsAbility to maintain positive working relationshipsAbility to maintain satisfactory attendanceMaintenance aptitude with a desire to learn new skills performing facilities maintenance servicesAbility to follow well-defined methods and procedures, requiring minimal trainingWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Capable of climbing a 10-foot ladderAbility to stand 50% of the workdayAbility to walk 50% of the workdayBG offers competitive pay, outstanding benefits package including 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision, STD & LTD, flexible spending, paid time off, and a great place to work!BG is proud to be an EOE and Drug-Free Workplace.
