**Description**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Ensure delivery vehicle is in a safe operating condition by completing the pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
* Verify accuracy of all equipment picked up or delivered using PO and Job Number.
* Maintain a clean, safe environment in the cab as well as outside of vehicle, plus ensure gates and lift gate are secure to the vehicle; wash vehicle as necessary.
* When not in use, all straps and blocking materials & tools are to be safely stowed in their proper place.
* Comply with all safe driving rules and traffic laws.
* Ensure that the materials on the truck are secure, properly strapped and blocked.
* Ensure that all paperwork is in vehicle when handling hazardous material.
* Performs material, tools and equipment pickup at suppliers for delivery to either the shop or jobsite.
* Ensure that all deliveries arrive in a timely manner.
* End of the day: make sure all delivery packaging is discarded in the proper container and all paperwork is turned in (pick/up delivery receipts, pre-post trip inspections).
* Wear complete DeBra-Kuempel uniform (PPE) with necessary badges or identification.
* Keep shop clean and materials/tools organized.
* Notify proper staff of any vehicle maintenance issues.
* Assist with warehouse duties when needed along with odd jobs around office area.
* Experience with towing trailers is preferred but not necessary.
* Experience operating a fork truck (if no experience, training will be provided).
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Work hours: 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Monday Friday (additional hours when necessary).
* Hold a valid CDL A drivers license (Optional).
* Current DOT Medical Card.
* Clean MVR.
* Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
