Murad is seeking a Demand Planner to execute best-in-class forecasting and S&OP support for a growing & fast-paced company. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who enjoys working with data, including gathering, interrogating, cross-validating, and reporting. You must be detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven with an eye for streamlining responsibilities and ways of working. To succeed in this role, you will be a strong cross-functional collaborator with an ability to develop solid working relationships as well as an excellent communicator with the ability to relate complex information clearly and set the stage to drive key decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the Demand Planning Database by ensuring integrity, processing updates efficiently, timely, and accurately, reviewing exception analysis, and initiating appropriate corrective actions
Support the recurring refresh, analysis, and update of Demand Planning Data
Suggest recommendations & guidance for the business based on observations from monthly variance to forecast & correlations of long-term trends
Meet or exceed monthly benchmark metrics – Including Monthly Forecast Accuracy & Bias Targets leveraging analytics and business intelligence
Actively seek opportunities for process improvement to streamline efficiency, performance & agility
Partner with Supply Planning to provide initial forecast and update expectations throughout the product lifecycle and support product launch, item conversions, and phase-out
Proactively work with operations and supply chain teams to identify and close inventory gaps when forecasts are overachieved; mitigate overstock risk
Partner with Cross-Functional Teams such as Supply, Marketing, Sales, Finance, & Operations to obtain business information, manage data gathering and forecasting efforts and address business/operations queries
Partner with Marketing to align on assumptions for innovations & closely monitor post-launch performance
Support Lifecycle Planning Activities Via SKU Rationalization Recommendations & Item Status Maintenance
Prepare reporting and analysis for Monthly Sales Collaboration Calls, including reporting such as Demand Plan vs Forecast, analysis, including highlighting gaps and excesses, identification of associated business concerns and opportunities (New product launch, new territories, etc.) and propose recommendations/solutions as appropriate
Support Monthly S&OP meetings via report preparation and analysis by highlighting significant items and trends, providing support information to frame, assess, and provide recommendations regarding critical decisions, proposing future projects and identifying improvement opportunities, and confirming and aligning department priorities for the next cycle
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ Years Prior Demand Planning Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Participation in a Monthly S&OP review process is a plus
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and process improvement
High analytical acumen – Detail oriented & results-focused
Communicator who: participated in and fostered cross-team & inter-department relationships and is involved in process changes, moving from the status quo
ERP System Experience (Oracle Preferred)
Strong Excel Ability - Pivot tables and formulas (Comfortable with Multi-sheet workbooks, lookups, summarization functionality, and if-then)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)

This position is based in our El Segundo, CA headquarters, which is currently 40% hybrid onsite/remote work.
The expected base salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
