Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant: At least 1 year of Orthodontic dental assisting experience required
At least 1 year of General dental assisting experience required
Reliable and empathetic towards patients and staff
Ordering supplies and taking care of logistics
Assist in using various diagnostic tests to determine the condition of patients' teeth
Study patient records, including dental histories, plaster models of teeth, and X-rays to develop treatment plans for patients
Aid in discussing treatment plans and cost estimates with patients
Help in treating occlusion issues and other oral conditions
Fitting patients for various orthodontic appliances
Scheduling regular checkups with patients to make adjustments to orthodontic appliances, such as tightening braces, and tracking patient progress
Schedule of the Dental Assistant: Monday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM (Family Dental Care)
Tuesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Smiles on Randolph)
Wednesday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Family Dental Care)
Thursday: 9:00AM - 7:00PM (Smiles on Randolph)
Friday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Rotates)
Saturday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM (Every other Saturday)
