Job Description: Our awesome client, an experience marketing agencyspecializingin event marketing and brand marketing is looking for a killer DesignDirector to leadtheir team duringa 6 + month project!! As a DesignDirector, you will directin planning, advertising, supervising thecreative process, and guiding the team that works under you. The creative team includes, creative directors, art directors, and designers. We are looking for individuals that want to generate big, brave, bold creative ideas and help direct how those ideas come to life! Client facing role helping establishing look and feel for key event-wide workstreams
Leading Wayfinding, brand graphics, digital graphics, customer stories, and staff attire
Establish 2D design direction based on brand guidance, translating what is not defined by the brand team
Review all key 2D work to insure it is up to standards prior to being reviewed by brand team
Assist with design/layout of key creative elements
Responsible for keeping decks for their workstreams up to date
Align clients, creative teams and other stakeholders behind product design vision.Ensure high-quality products are crafted on time and within budget.Day-to-Day Responsibilities of theDesign DirectorMeet with clients to determine their goals and ideas for certain projects.Share ideas with clients and creative teams, employing storyboards, mockups and other elements for visualizing concepts.Meet with creative director,art director and other upper-level creative personnel to align on visions for projects.Approve artwork and design decisions by graphic designers, copywriters and other creative team members.Reassess timelines and budget limits, making adjustments when needed.The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60 to $70an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
