The Diet Tech visits with each guest upon admission to conduct a nutrition assessment, explain dietary plans, record preferences, and ensure quality food service.

Responsibilities
• They also assist in meal service, manage inventory, perform cleaning tasks, check diet trays, and deliver food to designated areas.
• Ensures that nutrition documentation complies with regulations.
Qualifications
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nutrition preferred.
• Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain soon after hire
• ServeSafe Certified Manager/Diet Tech preferred
• Two (2) years experience in long term care dietary charting preferred
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
