This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, appearance, accuracy, and functionality of The Children's Guild website, social media accounts, and its sub-properties. The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage digital accounts related to TCG's online presence, serve as the point of contact for vendors,and contribute to budget recommendations aligned with the company's organizational structure, goals, and marketing strategies.SummaryThe Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization serving children, families, and child-serving organizations. Website Management•Design and develop WordPress websites using Divi for user-friendly experiences.•Maintain front-end and back-end elements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.•Update visual content across eleven websites for accuracy and consistency.•Respond to companywide creative service requests related to websites.•Uphold branding guidelines for visual consistency.•Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs.•Monitor website analytics and user behavior for optimization.2. Social Media Management•Manage the social media content calendar and use analytics tools for performance tracking.•Implement social media strategies for brand visibility.•Collaborate with the Creative Director, designers, copywriters, and video producers to develop integrated marketing materials.•Use social media management software to create, curate, manage, and analyze content on various platforms.•Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns.•Analyze response data and generate reports to provide insights.•Implement A/B testing on social media campaigns.3. Content and Graphics•Collaborate with the Creative Director to produce graphics, web banners, icons, photos, and videos.•Help manage vendor resources and support.•Maintain Google My Business and other online profiles for the organization and its services.•Ensure online visuals are optimized for SEO and user engagement.•Manage the organization and archives of creative files.4. Administrative Responsibilities:•Write the monthly marketing newsletter for internal distribution.•Manage web hosting accounts and monitor domain registrations.•Maintain records of passwords and budget allocations.•Organize team's digital creative file folders.•Collaborate with finance and vendors for invoicing.•Maintain website vendor contact and service agreements.•Generate regular reports on performance and compliance.•Assist in obtaining permissions and licenses for copyrighted content.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesTo excel in this role, you should possess:•Proficiency in Microsoft O\ice Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Jungle Mail.•Proficiency in Hootsuite•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Canva, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat.•Strong command of digital tools: WordPress, Divi, HTML, CSS.•Design skills encompassing illustration, layout design, presentation creation, web design UX/UI, and infographic design.•Proven social media management skills.•Demonstrated data analysis skills.•Excellent prioritization and time management skills.•Attention to detail and commitment to adhering to brand guidelines.•Strong organizational and communication skills.CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual will retain accountability for the following Key Result Areas (KRAs).Key Result Area #1 - Website Management•Website content updates are completed.•Increase engagement on target landing pages.This KRA is successful when:•Ensuring all website updates are completed within two business days of request submission.•Reporting a minimum 2% increase in page conversions.Key Result Area #2 - Social Media Management•Maintain the content calendar.•Increase the number of social Followers by annual goal rates.•Execute and evaluate social media advertising campaigns.This KRA is successful when:•Maintaining a 1-month out content calendar with minimum 90% plan accuracy.•Reporting a minimum 2% growth rate for each social media channel.•Reporting the performance of at least four paid advertising campaigns annually.Key Result Area #3 - Content and Graphics•Maintain online profiles for TCG.This KRA is successful when:•Maintaining an up-to-date accuracy of 99.9% for TCG's Google My Business pages, Indeed and Glassdoor pages, and other visible online profiles.Key Result Area #4 - Administrative•Distribute the monthly marketing newsletter•Collaborate with finance and vendors for invoicing.•Maintain website vendor contact and service agreements.•Generate regular reports on performance and compliance.•Assist in obtaining permissions and licenses for copyrighted content.This KRA is successful when:•Finalize the marketing newsletter by the 12th of each month.•Forward marketing invoices and receipts to the Director of Marketing by the 3rd of each month.•Maintaining an up-to-date accuracy of 99.9% for TCG's marketing files.•Provided service analysis of vendor contracts to Director of Marketing by the budget planning deadline.•Have zero grievances reported on TCG's marketing use of content and images.•100% of annual department plans are executed.Cultural Awareness Expectations•The Children's Guild employees are expected to honor the diversity that makes up our community.
