Shift Options: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift
Pay: $20 - $32/hr.
Responsibilities:
Reads blueprints and engineering specs to obtain material, surface finish, and dimension details. Compares workpiece surface finishes to standard blocks using fingertip touch for accuracy. Measures product dimensions, angles, arcs, and radii to ensure they meet specifications. Reports findings to the Inspection Supervisor and prepares Inspection Deviation Reports (IDR) for non-conforming parts. Sets up and tests inspection equipment, including portable CMM, to ensure accuracy. Operates forklifts and cranes to move heavy parts for inspection. Qualifications: 3-5 years of related experience Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals, as well as write routine reports and correspondence. Proficient in performing calculations, including discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry concepts. Skilled in solving practical problems and interpreting various instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
