The Renaissance Senior Living in Due West is seeking 2 full time cooks. Each will work M-F plus one weekend per month. The hours are 6a-2p and 10:30a-6:30p. Wage rate per is hour is $11-$13. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Implementationof daily menus according to shift. 6AM-2PM shift produces daily breakfast menus for independent living,memory care and assisted living. Thisshift will also begin prepping for the lunch time meal. 10:30AM-6:30PM shift produces lunch meal withfirst shift and then will begin and produce the evening meal for independent living,memory care and assisted living, Cleaningdishes during shift both before and after meals. Dailysweeping and/or mopping of kitchen floor according to shift. Reportingto Food Service Director for directions on menu preparation, daily duties, and anyother questions regarding shift duties. Following of all menu items and/or prep itemsaccording to dietary and resident needs and standards. Serv-Safe Food Handler Certificate preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:
Our Community is hiring a Dietary Cook. This role is responsible for the preparation of meals for the regular and special diets as determined by daily/weekly menus for each resident. Understands and is able to follow guidelines for special diets and special menus for events. Responsible for overseeing each meal and directing as needed. Ability to perform all duties in a sanitary manner to provide the highest quality meals daily.
