About the Role The Company is seeking a Director of Capture and Proposals for Federal Government Business Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the capture and proposal operations team, as well as developing and implementing the necessary processes and procedures. This role requires the ability to articulate the organizational value proposition and strategy, manage and allocate personnel resources for proposals, and maintain information systems that support proposal operations. The Director will also be involved in tracking and analyzing capture and proposal results, and must be adept at implementing best practices for proposal development, particularly using the Shipley method.
Applicants for the Director of Capture and Proposals position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 7 years' of experience in managing a team of proposal and capture professionals. A minimum of 5 years' of experience in capture and winning proposal development, with a strong knowledge of the proposal development process, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with government contracts, including federal and state, and with proposal management software tools. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, and document management tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom is required. The role is suited for an individual with out-of-the-box thinking, who can take ownership of the capture and proposal operations in a rapidly growing environment.
