The Role
Are you motivated by driving business outcomes and interested in partnering closely with the business leadership in the Commercial business within Lumen? Does working in a fast-paced environment with agility sound exciting?
The Director of Finance is a key role within the Business Finance organization to lead our Investments and Transformation initiatives. This role will be a trusted advisor partnering across the Commercial business driving the end-to-end governance and decision support for Lumen's Enterprise key strategic investments and transformation. The role will collaborate across groups to define an investment prioritization framework and lead the go forward governance model. The role will help shape the strategy and drive execution through actionable insights. The overriding objective is to drive value creation by partnering with the business/respective finance teams and holding teams accountable to deliver on investment benefits.

The Main Responsibilities
Drive cultural transformation and growth as the team manager.
Lead capital and investment prioritization governance across the Enterprise
Develop process and framework for end-to-end decision support across capital and expense investments
Establish metrics tracking and insights to ensure business accountability for meeting performance goals
Provide recommendations to executive management on investment decisions and priorities
Lead on transformation projects within business finance
Lead capital governance process and deliver analytics and insights for enhanced reporting, forecasting, and budget planning
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required
Experience managing across multiple senior executive lead stakeholder groups to achieve results. Effective communicator up and down an organization, including ability to drive two-way business communication with C-level management.
Extensive experience consolidating and interpreting results across multiple business units.
Experience changing existing processes, including cross functional processes, for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
Preferred
MBA or CFA credentials preferred.
Proven ability to take high level direction and produce results which show thought leadership and drive value creation for the business with limited supervision.
Develops analytical frameworks and performs analyses to help facilitate senior-level decision-making on business issues and/or problems (either individually or through team members).
Able to synthesize complex business issues into key actionable drivers for the purpose of promoting understanding and decision-making.
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$128310 - $171080 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$135060 - $180080 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$141820 - $189090 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$148570 - $198090 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
