About the Role: Trace3's Management Consulting team is practiced in successfully guiding teams and organizations through strategic and highly visible business initiatives to optimize performance and enhance business outcomes. We combine deep industry expertise, along with a technical acumen to provide insights and leadership to help our clients navigate through business-centric issues and challenges.
As the Director of Management Consulting, you will be instrumental in leading our consulting practice, leveraging deep technical expertise and executive consulting skills to accelerate strategic initiatives and deliver impactful solutions. Your role will include driving business development in partnership with our sales teams and being a leader for our Go-To-Market strategies. You will interface and partner with external business customers and internal sales teams to ensure optimal communication and successful project implementations.
What You'll Do: Ongoing business development and expansion through sales process oversight, identification of new opportunities, and cultivating key client/account relationships to drive revenue growth. Lead client presentations, develop proposals, and negotiations to secure new business. Be a thought leader and trusted advisor to our clients who brings an understanding of technology trends, the competitive landscape, best practices, and their business implications across Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Analytics, and AI. Interface and partner with external business customers and internal sales teams to ensure optimal communication and successful project implementations. Act as a connector to ensure all appropriate internal and external parties are engaged at necessary capacities for pre-sales and execution success. Communicate and evangelize the Management Consulting vision on how it aligns with exceptional professional services delivery to clients. Provide teams of consultants with guidance, oversight, thought leadership, and mentorship to continue to grow and develop our technology consulting talent. Create and maintain productive and strong relationships with internal teams (i.e. Executive Leadership, Engineering, and Account Teams) to continuously solicit feedback and input on improvement opportunities and development for the management consulting team. Focus on continuous improvement of Management Consulting as a practice, looking to intentionally grow and develop our levels of department process maturity. Establish a clear understanding of Management Consulting's roles and responsibilities across all teams with which we interface. Qualifications & Interests: Minimum of ten years of related experience in professional services engagements and/or with account management or engagement management responsibility. Excellent business development and client relationship management skills, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios. Strong understanding of consulting processes and deliverables in a professional services environment. Solid management experience and track record in motivating strong teams; able to influence and inspire commitment. Excellent communication and presentation skills combined with technical expertise across areas our technical pillars, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple projects and programs concurrently. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences in a diverse community. Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment. Self-starter, comfortable establishing vision and driving work with minimal direction. Demonstrated strategic planning and delivery experience within the technical focus areas of Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Data, Analytics, and AI.
