About the Role The Company is seeking a Director of Outside Sales to lead the development of a new outside sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the team, creating a sales plan, and budgeting to meet revenue goals. The position is remote, and the Director will be expected to work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of the sales plan and the achievement of revenue goals. Applicants for the Director of Outside Sales position at the company should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to build and manage a sales team, as well as their experience in targeting specific verticals, particularly in the medical, veterinary, and automotive sectors. The role is focused on API and integrations into current software, so specific experience in this area is a plus.
This role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in outside sales, with at least 5 years' in a leadership position, and a strong background in the payment processing industry. The Director will be expected to have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, experience in compensation planning for sales teams, and a network of successful outside resellers that can be recruited. Proficiency in Salesforce, a strong understanding of interchange fees, and experience with prospecting and hunting methodologies are also essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in companies with over 100 employees, be fluent in Salesforce, and have a strong understanding of sales metrics and KPIs.
