About the Role & Team Amplitude's GTM Strategy & Operations team is leading the strategy, planning and operational management across the GTM teams for Amplitude. Sales Strategy & Operations is a critical business partner and growth enabler leading our sales strategy, planning and operations for Sales. We are searching for an outstanding Director, Sales Strategy & Operations to support the growth of our AMERICAS Sales team to partner with our Americas regional leadership and managers to continue our journey of growth of productivity.
In this role, you will: Collaborate with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in developing go-to market strategy, resource plan and key performance metricsProvide strategic and operational support to Americas Leadership teamScale and mature critical business processes to improve business performanceDrive and support planning process, including organizational design, headcount allocation, capacity planning, territory planning and target settingDevelop and execute initiatives designed to optimize sales team efficiency and productivityDrive rhythm of business (forecasting, pipeline reviews, renewal readiness, monthly / quarterly business reviews) with strong operational rigorProvide insights on key performance metrics and priorities (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews), identify key roadblocks to progress, and work efficiently to remove themProvide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth and provide key insights for business leadership to support strategic decision-makingDrive local / regional critical projects and initiatives and drive alignment with cross-functional teams across the organization by developing detailed project plans with activity based milestonesOversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teamsYou'll be a great addition to the team if you have: Experience with innovative, high performing, and fast paced revenue organizations at a high-growth enterprise B2B SaaS companyStrong executive presence and an ability to communicate effectively with your peers, senior field leadership, and executive teamA passion to growing and nurturing top talentStrong business acumen and distinctive problem solving and analysis skills.Ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)Experience taking a structured approach to solving unique business problemsStakeholder management experience - with strong communication and influencing skillsAn enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality. Works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environmentAt minimum, you should have: 8+ years of experience in a strategy and operations role supporting salesAbility to partner with executives and manage multiple stakeholders cross functionallyAdvanced skills in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel (e.g. should know commonly-used functions such as INDEX(MATCH), VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables) and SWLKnowledge/experience with Salesforce.com, Clari, Outreach is requiredSelf-starter mentality with a high degree of follow through; can own and take tasks through to completionBA or BS from an accredited university preferredWho We Are The Company: Amplitude is filled with humble, life-long learners who are eager to help one another and the company succeed. Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $222,000 - $333,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $201,000 - $302,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
