Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This is an entry-level position in the culinary industry, offering an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand - Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored - Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors - Empty trash containers regularly and maintain proper waste disposal procedures - Assist kitchen staff with various tasks as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures - Basic knowledge of culinary techniques is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors Skills: - Kitchen experience - Food handling knowledge - Ability to assist with food preparation tasks - Familiarity with culinary techniques - Strong cleaning and sanitation skills - Hospitality mindset Note: This is a paid position.
