Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: Laurel, MD (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Laurel, MD. This role is 100% onsite, working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily schedules of our field staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. You will serve as the main point of contact between our office and the field teams, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
Key Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch workers, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations based on customer needs and available resources.Monitor the progress of field teams throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed on time.Maintain communication with drivers and field staff to relay job information, updates, and address issues as they arise.Respond to customer inquiries and provide status updates on service delivery.Track and maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including service requests, completed tasks, and any delays or issues.Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and report generation.Resolve service-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.Qualifications: Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a related role is preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in using dispatch software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.Must be dependable and have strong problem-solving skills.
