is a growing statewide company seeking a
District
Manager
for our On-Premise Sales Division to oversee a team of Sales Consultants in multiple counties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The District Manager is responsible for accomplishing the company sales and account objectives through the management of the Sales Consultants in their District. As the team leader, the District Manager is expected to have command of the team and will be required to direct, plan, and lead the activities of their Sales Consultants to ensure that all company goals, functions, and responsibilities are executed in their District. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Grow district revenue versus the prior year and achieve company growth objectives.
Achieve monthly objectives on priority brands, specified programs and qualitative initiatives.
Perform at or above the company minimum standards for distribution (well, back bar, list), placement, position, feature, promotion display percentage, share of shelf and share of cold box in assigned district.
Generate strong business relationships with account decision makers throughout district.
Maintain strong product knowledge on GLWAS products.
Demonstrates competency of market trends, buyer needs and product categories.
Develop sales and delivery reports that generate metrics that drive account improvement and sales consultant performance.
Covers account management, during vacancies, as needed.
Conducts staff trainings, promotional events and presentations, as needed.
Plan, prepare and execute supplier surveys.
Manages resets and survey preparation, as needed.
As the District Sales Manager, you will also be responsible for administrative and people management performance. These duties include but are not limited to:
Manage business plan and tracking for entire sales district.
Submit all reports and data as requested by management, in a timely organized manner.
Adhere to hiring, disciplinary and managerial processes, as instructed.
Coach team members to plan, prepare and deliver effective, fact based and professional sales presentations.
Trains team members to build professional relationships, to capitalize on account opportunities, and execute on business objectives effectively while improving overall GLWAS share.
Ensure team is adhering to both 'on' and 'off 'premise 'Standards of Performance' and 'Merchandising Principles' as outlined in company sales training programs.
Dedicates appropriate time and resources to fully train and develop team members and takes corrective action when needed.
Engages team consistently and frequently to ensure needs are met, routes are being effectively run, accounts are being serviced consistently, and goals are communicated in a timely, organized matter.
Manages divisional processes and reporting procedures, including dailies, pre-plans, surveys and any other sales metrics utilized to grow overall sales & GLWAS share.
Assists team members in overcoming sales and service obstacles, as they arise.
Conducting monthly 'Work-With' for all team members, with specific training topics.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position operates in the field, with daily travel, driving in all types of weather. Time is also spent in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment. Work environment will vary based on account stops.
This position also requires sitting for extended periods of time, while traveling; the employee will climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl intermittently throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 55 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds of force on a cart; frequently ascend and descend stairs.
Work Schedule
The District Sales Manager is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on business needs. Frequent evenings and weekends are expected.
Pay & Benefits
$68,000 Base Salary plus Tertile Bonus Structure
$500 Monthly Car Allowance

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
Educational background in sales or industry related program (preferred)
4-year degree or 4 years of sales experience (preferred)
1 year of Managerial experience (preferred)
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Skype)
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Additional Requirements
Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including a Physical Evaluation, 10-Panel Drug Screen, Agility Test, and Full Background Check including criminal record.
Maintain a safe driving record.
