Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a proven approach that improves behavior by applying behavioral science principles. ABA therapy helps individuals with autism and developmental disorders build essential skills and improve their quality of life.
Your Responsibilities: Apply ABA Techniques: Implement strategies to meet behavioral goals and foster student development. Deliver Therapy: Conduct one-on-one and group sessions utilizing evidence-based ABA methods. Collaborate: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to maintain effective behavior management. Track Progress: Document student behavior and therapy outcomes with meticulous records. Communicate: Provide feedback to families and coordinate with your BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst). Adapt and Travel: Move between schools as needed to offer therapy and support. We're Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: Prior experience in ABA therapy or related roles preferred. Certification: RBT certification is a plus but not mandatory. Skills: Strong grasp of ABA principles, behavior management techniques, and effective communication. Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job. Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the district. Details: Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Pay: $22 to $27 per hour, based on experience.
