About the team: eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. eBay sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent and engaging live streams on eBay Live. eBay buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Manager-Collectibles who can join this exciting growing program and play a pivotal role in driving scale and success. You will work closely with our sellers to help them succeed on this new platform, and be responsible for delivering on achievable (but aggressive!) GMV targets. You will be responsible for advocating for your sellers, for understanding our platform and how it needs to change, and helping us build a program that scales. In this role, you will build and lead a team of 3-4 category managers.
This role will be focused on building our trading cards and related categories portfolio on eBay Live.

What you will accomplish: Deliver an ambitious eBay Live GMV target for your assigned categories Act as the GM for your category on Live – building out our seller & event supply and coordinating cross functional teams to deliver success for those sellers & events
Select and onboard new sellers to eBay live Conduct BD activities - meet sellers, develop pitches, come up with creative ways to engage and contract with sellers
Define criteria for selecting sellers to onboard to eBay Live, using pattern recognition, analytics, and merchant 'gut' to define who is most likely to succeed on the platform
Shepherd sellers through the onboarding process, helping us identify issues and create processes, tools, and workarounds to address them
Help Sellers find success on eBay live Convince sellers to invest time and resources in eBay live, and help them make that investment worthwhile
Understand drivers of success on the eBay live platform and coach your portfolio of sellers accordingly - across assortment, live host, production, selling formats, marketing, etc.
Advocate for sellers with cross functional teams, come up with solutions to problems, seed new programs to help sellers be successful, lobby for them, and activate against them
Help us scale eBay live Build a team of motivated, analytical, and goal-oriented category managers to deliver on our ambitious goals
Develop scalable processes, tools, and models that help us grow this business 10x in the next year!
?What you will bring: BA/BS degree or equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant ecommerce experience working directly with sellers and retailers in the collectibles space, ideally across multiple collectible verticals
Experience and interest in Live selling formats
People management experience, with strong interest and aptitude in coaching and developing people
Proven track record leading multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum guidance
Strong project management, organization, and partner engagement skills, including multitasking to lead and execute projects
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with sellers and internal team members
Ability and willingness to travel to meet in person with accounts (up to 15% of month)
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$144,000 - $216,150 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
