ASSYST is seeking an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Developer to join the ECM team supporting and enhancing IBM FileNet and IBM Datacap applications. The ECM Developer will play a key role in supporting 23 FileNet and 7 Datacap applications, integrating these with GIS, Oracle EBS, and eBuilder systems, and implementing 4-6 projects annually. This position requires hands-on expertise in both FileNet v5.x and Datacap v9.1.x development and administration, along with strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
Job Title: ECM Developer - FileNet and Datacap Specialist
Location: Laurel, MD Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract: 12 Months Duties and Responsibilities Provide application support, troubleshooting, and resolution for FileNet and Datacap incident tickets Lead technical implementation for new application development and enhancements of existing applications Design technical solutions, write code, and deploy applications within ECM systems Work closely with business users to clarify requirements and provide status updates on application-related matters Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams (Platform, DBA, Network, Security, Help Desk, and Change Management) Coordinate with the QA team to support quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) Participate in system patching and disaster recovery (DR) exercises. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) 10+ years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a master's degree. 7+ years of hands-on experience with FileNet v5.x development and administration, including but not limited to: IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and custom plug-ins P8 APIs and Java-based customization Workflow Process Design and Process Administration P8 subscription and event actions P8 ACCE (Administrative Console for Content Engine) FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM) Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of FileNet P8 (CPE, CSS, Case Foundation), ICN, etc. Hands-on experience with IBM Datacap v9.1.x, including: Datacap Task Master, RuleRunner, and Datacap Navigator Datacap Studio and workflow configuration OCR and scanning integrations with FileNet Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of Datacap systems Technical Skills: SQL, JavaScript, and J2E framework development Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases System design and architecture diagrams
