Huntsman is seeking an EHS & MEC Governance Manager supporting the EHS and Manufacturing Excellence and Engineering Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Senior Director, Global Sustainability and EHS Governance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: EHS Metrics Management Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive set of EHS metrics to measure the effectiveness of the company's EHS programs.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of EHS performance to internal and external stakeholders. EHS Standards and Management Systems Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS standards and management systems across the organization.Ensure alignment with global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Assure communication of the system to stakeholders. Crisis Management Oversee the Corporate Crisis Manager and the Corporate Crisis Management PlansCoordinate with regional and site-level crisis management teams to ensure effective response and recovery during incidents. EHS Communications Collaborating with Corporate Communications, assure the development and implement of communication strategies for the EHS function, ensuring clear and consistent messaging to all stakeholders.Manage internal and external communication during crises and other EHS-related events. Training and Development Assure the design and deliver EHS training programs to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of EHS professionals and other relevant personnel.Assure ongoing development of EHS competencies across the organization. Project Management Office (PMO) Lead the EHS Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective planning, execution, and governance of EHS projects.Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. Minimum Qualifications Experience Project management experience.Minimum 5 years in a governance, project management roleExperience in EHS roles within the chemical or petrochemical industry a plus Skills and Knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional projects.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Crisis management and emergency response expertise a plus. Key Competencies: Leadership: Demonstrates strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and implementing long-term EHS strategies that align with business objectives.Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve EHS goals.Resilience: Maintains composure and effectiveness under pressure, particularly during crises.Ethical Judgment: Demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical behavior and decision-making in all aspects of EHS governance. Special features: Global Scope: This role requires the ability to manage EHS governance across multiple regions and adapt strategies to local regulations and cultural differences.Travel: Occasional international travel may be required to support global EHS initiatives, audits, and crisis management activities.Innovation: The role includes driving innovation in EHS practices, leveraging new technologies, and staying ahead of industry trends.
