Along with the EHS site representative, manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives. Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents. On the environmental side, carry out periodic inspections to ensure that all rules and regulations are being complied with. Specifically, it ensures the implementation of the program of best management practices (BMP) in the environmental area.Requisitos:QUALIFICATIONS / OTHER REQUIREMENTS 1 -5 years' experience in manufacturing environment with responsibility for Environmental, Health and Safety. Experience in sites services and maintenance. Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed. Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities. Superior analytical/ problem solving, written and verbal communications. Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred. Familiar with various emission control devices to ensure compliance. Forklift, boom and scissor lift licenses are desirable however employee should be available to be certify if does not have it. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) or Bachelor of Agricultural Science, or engineering with experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
