Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) - Full Time

Job Summary: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to emergent and non-emergent requests for medical assistance. They deliver high-quality patient care, treatment, and customer service. The EMT operates within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols, and Company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Maintains thorough familiarity with treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures. Operates company vehicle in accordance with company policy and safe practices. Ensures unit remains in a state of readiness in terms of mechanical reliability, medical supply and equipment. Completes all appropriate EMT documentation as outlined in company policy. Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor. Attends all mandatory in-services. Education/Certifications/Licensures: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) EMT License and CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider) Valid driver's license and ambulance driver's license Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV) Driving record in compliance with company's Safety and Driving policy Completion of ICS courses Company Benefits: Comprehensive benefit options include medical, vision, dental, 401k, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.57 per hour (DOE)
