(Commensurate with experience)** ***Sponsorship opportunities available to further EMS education*** Available Northern New Mexico Locations: Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe *Application will ask for locations of interestWe're hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) / EMT-Intermediates (EMT-I) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.Responsibilities: AEMTs assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. While maintaining confidentiality and patient rights, Document patient information, condition, and treatments. Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked patient environment. Use appropriate AEMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools. AEMT operates an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles. Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMS Providers. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) New Mexico State: Advanced-EMT or EMT-Intermediate Certification Valid State Driver's License BLS, NREMT Driving record compliant with company policy Pass the Physical Agility Test Some work experience, preferably in healthcare Why Choose AMR?
