Our Northern CA Area is seeking an Engineer I.
Responsibilities:
Perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for designing concrete and steel bridge and appurtenant transportation structures.Research and review design options for both technical & economic impact.Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.Prepare material quantities for structures.Team player that will remain in close coordination with other Engineers, independent quality control and quality assurance reviews.Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
Requires a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.EIT license preferred and/or working toward PE license in the future.Minimum of 1 year bridge design and DOT experience preferred.Strong technical skills in structural analysis, including dynamic and seismic analysis, and design of various types of bridge structures.Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients toughest challenges.High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.TYLin is an equal opportunity employer, and we prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type as protected by federal, state, or local laws. TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range for this position. $70,400 - $105,600 annually.
