Engineering Technician

Day-to-Day We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join a large local utility company's Applied Technology Services (ATS) division in their search for an Engineering Technician. ATS is responsible for engineering, testing, and analysis services and expertise across multiple disciplines to various company organizations to identify, diagnose, and solve technical problems. Services include inspections, failure analysis, performance assessments, and evaluations on a wide variety of systems and components ranging from in-service concrete to hydroelectric turbine blades to distributed generation. ATS Electric Unit Technicians work with the Electrical Engineers and team members of the ATS Electric Unit to perform field testing, support lab testing activities, and assist with equipment investigations and failure analysis work. As the Engineer Technician you'll be responsible for hands-on technical engineering work focused on basic calibrations on equipment such as handheld devices, torque wrenches, etc.
Required Skills & Experience AA degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar appropriate area of studyAt least 1 year of experience as an Electrician, Electric Technician, or similar roleDetail-oriented, ability to follow standardsWilling to learn attitude
