Position: Junior Business Analyst
Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business requirements for various projects
You will also be involved in the testing, implementation, and support phases
The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of experience in data analysis, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and have a passion for utilizing data to inform business decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze business models and projects to identify gaps and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication. - Assess the vision and scope of new projects, services, and software solutions. - Collect, clean, and transform data from diverse sources. - Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. - Develop reports and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. - Automate data collection and reporting processes. - Create and maintain data models and data dictionaries. - Stay informed about the latest industry standards and trends, integrating them into new projects and services. - Prepare presentations and facilitate meetings to discuss data-driven changes and enhancements. - Gather customer feedback and concerns through surveys, questionnaires, and workshops. - Optimize budgets for various requirements to ensure cost efficiency. - Communicate user needs and concerns effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - 2 years of experience in data analysis. - Proficiency in SQL and Excel. - Understanding of data modeling and database design. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
