Entry Level Machinist

Job Description Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level Machinist to join our client at their Lake Forest manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating saw machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions, ensuring accuracy and quality in every cut.

Pay: $17-23/hr

Key Responsibilities: Operate saw machines to cut various materials according to specified measurements. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting instructions. Measure and inspect cut materials to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw machines. Monitor the cutting process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy. Ensure a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience preferred. 6 months experience in any manufacturing role preferred. Ability to operate heavy machinery and and maintain safely standard. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
