Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Environmental Health & Safety EHS Analyst. The position will be based at our Omaha, NE facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $63749.97 - $93499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an EHS Analyst. The EHS Analyst will work within a team to accomplish the Environmental, Heath, and Safety goals of the Omaha, NE facility. The hours are regularly 7:30am-4pm with some schedule shifts/flexing to accommodate the needs and projects on all shifts.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the EHS manager in EHS and facilities compliance. You'll provide tactical EHS support in the form of Audits, Inspections, and Safety orientation and training for the site. Additionally, you'll support key strategic initiatives by developing the skills of other safety champions, continuous improvement ideas, risk reduction, overall plant safety engagement and helping with other environmental compliance and aspirational goals.

What you'll do:
•Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Works with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
•Determines appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives.
•Supports creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
•Works to assign MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements.
•Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
•Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
•Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
•Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
•Create training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion.
•Authority to forbid any Tasks or Activities not in accordance with EHS and legal requirement.
•Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.
•Ensure employees and Material safety.

Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited institution with minimum 2 years of environmental, health and safety (EHS) experience OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum of 1 year environmental, health and safety (EHS) experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Omaha, NE will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental discipline from an accredited institution Manufacturing experienceExperience managing OSHA & ISO compliance.EHS experience with a focus in risk management. Position Criteria: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
