In this role, the successful candidate The role of the Equipment Logistics Supervisor entails the supervision of the PMMET team and the management of daily operations in the Equipment Logistics Office focusing on equipment inventory This person will work collaboratively with Clinical Engineering and other departments This person will support the Equipment Logistics team by serving as the operational liaison and customer service lead for mobile medical equipment transport in the Brooklyn campus
Job Responsibilities: STAFF SUPERVISION nbsp; Lead and manage the day to day activities of the PMMET team including scheduling and ensuring task completion with accuracy and timeliness nbsp; Participate in onboarding coaching and performance evaluations of PMMETs Proactively anticipate supply needs required for PMMET tasks nbsp;
WORKFLOW / PROCESS IMPROVEMENT nbsp; Innovate technological solutions to enhance PMMET workflows Oversee SPM scanning compliance to ensure appropriate cleaning transportation and tracking of equipment nbsp; Evaluate and establish policies and procedures to enhance safety and operational efficiency Escalate concerns to Equipment and logistics leadership or appropriate leadership as needed nbsp;
EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT nbsp; Responsively address equipment requests as necessary nbsp; Monitor and maintain inventory of mobile medical equipment Collaborate with unit leaders to manage appropriate equipment par levels nbsp; Monitor budget utilization and determine optimal expenditures Collaborate with CE leadership to maintain the RTLS database and equipment tagging nbsp; Monitor exception reporting of RTLS tagged devices and deploy resources to address changing tags or pulling equipment nbsp; Monitor metrics related to RTLS/equipment locating as determined by Equipment and logistics leadership Conduct follow up and real time training or education to end users on RTLS/Mobileview on an as needed basis nbsp; Other duties as needed nbsp;
Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently and must be self motivated and dedicated to process improvement within the department Some flexibility in work hours may be required during project rollouts training and special events
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a A bachelor s Degree requires strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of specific healthcare products and familiarity with patient care equipment is preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $79,483.04 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
