Esri Arcmap Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist

Overview: Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in US, seeks an accomplished ESRI ArcMap Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist.
Description: Responsible for validating the accuracy of legacy mapping data migrated to an ESRI mapping system. Review land base symmetry, connectivity at structures, and cable connectivity. Check attribute data of all linear and point data features for Electric and Gas components. Perform map symbology updates and system testing. Organize primary database and manage data tasks. Assist in other eGIS projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 2 years of experience using ESRI ArcMap and demonstrated knowledge in ESRI GIS. Experience within the utility environment preferred. Highly motivated with strong analytical and organizational skills. Results Required: Develop understanding of eGIS project and company mapping process. Ability to read various types of electrical and gas maps.
