EVIT offers over 40 CTE programs at four centralized campuses. Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams. EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year. Two out of three EVIT students go on to college.
EVIT is accepting applications for the position of Executive Assistant. This position will provide a full range of administrative support to the Chief Academic Officer, Deans, and other administrators. This is a full-time/exempt, 12-month position.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Executive Secretary is responsible for providing a full range of administrative support work to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO), Deans, and other administrators in a discreet, professional, and confidential manner requiring the application of specialized technical and administrative knowledge and the exercise of initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making. This is a fast-paced, high-demanding position.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent;Post-secondary secretarial training; ANDThree or more years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical work experience;OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.Licensing / Certification and Other Requirements: Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints Level 1 IVP fingerprint card.
