The successful candidate will be responsible for refining the vision of inclusive education, aligning resources, and deepening the understanding of state and federal mandates related to special education. This role involves analyzing data, coordinating professional development, and ensuring the coherence of inclusive practices across all schools. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing and supervising a team of inclusion coaches, overseeing their work with school leaders and staff, and driving structural changes to support inclusive education.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a principal or school leader, with a strong knowledge of successful inclusive learning models and practices. Supervisor and evaluation skills are essential, as is experience in leading change towards a more inclusive educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Education, experience in the district, and a background in teaching with a focus on diverse and English language learners. The role requires a deep understanding of the equity issues facing special education and ELL students with disabilities, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with senior leadership. Professional development experience and a commitment to fostering principles of Universal Design for Learning are also key qualifications for this position.
