Executive Director of Translational Immunology - Permanent - Boston, MA Proclinical is seeking a creative director to drive the strategy for accelerating the development of cellular therapies for immune-mediated diseases. Accountabilities: This is a senior position which will supervise the creation and application of translational objectives for cellular therapies for immune-mediated diseases. The main focus will be on ensuring effective collaborations between research and development, establishing strong target-to-disease connections and building a cross-functional team to identify new indications, differentiate our cellular therapeutics and drive translational understanding of clinical trial data.
Skills & Requirements: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or MD) in a related science field or equivalent medical qualification.Expertise in all stages of the drug development process with regulatory insights.Strong knowledge of immune-mediated disease pathogenesis and application of cellular and molecular technologies.Experience in biomarker efforts, IND filing, and ideally BAL filing.Ability to translate technical information into business language.Proven track record in delivering high-risk programs/projects and decision-making.Budget management and control experience.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Visionary with excellent problem-solving abilities and a drive to succeed.Entrepreneurial mindset with the energy to lead a motivated team.Ability to communicate and influence at high levels with stakeholders.Rapid and effective learning capability.Cross-functional team leadership experience.Experience in establishing and leading external partnerships in immune-mediated diseases.The Executive Director of Translational Immunology's responsibilities will be: Head up the translational science efforts within the organization.Lead and run the implementation of translational and biomarker objectives for cellular therapies.Ensure effective collaboration between research and development teams.Establish strong connections between targets and diseases.Build and lead a cross-functional team to identify new indications and differentiate cellular therapeutics.Drive the translational understanding of clinical trial data.Compensation: $315,000 to $320,000 annually
