The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales executives to grow revenue from new health system accounts. This role involves developing and executing strategies, building key client relationships, and delivering value propositions to secure new contracts. The Executive Sales Director will also be tasked with managing a professional sales team, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of service for clients. A strong background in healthcare sales, particularly with B2B transactions and experience in selling to the C-suite of hospitals/health systems, is highly preferred.

Candidates for the Executive Sales Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or life sciences, with an advanced degree being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in healthcare and at least 5 years in sales management is required. Knowledge of the reference laboratory business, healthcare industry, payers, and regulations is also a key qualification. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales results, leading teams, and be adept at business acumen, strategic agility, and customer focus. The role demands a high level of interpersonal savvy, the ability to travel, and a strong focus on driving results.
