Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is the state's only veterinary ER truly open 24/7. We have also been, and continue to be, the only vet ER that is privately owned with no corporate involvement or backing. We're located 25 minutes from Albuquerque, 30 minutes from Santa Fe and 15-20 minutes from Rio Rancho! We're moving to a very large, new building in Albuquerque in December. We are hiring 2 daytime ER technicians (Friday-Sunday and Saturday-Monday; both 6a-6p) and multiple overnight positions (6p-6a) to meet the growing demand for care. We aim to always be well staffed and for our employees to get off work on time. Our goal is to provide excellent vet care and a good client experience by hiring smart people and treating them like the professionals they are. In return, we have high expectations for our staff and for our clients.

We're hiring full time, experienced ER veterinary technicians for day, swing and overnight shifts! There is a pay differential for working swings and overnights (your hourly rate is higher than the day shift staff).
We pay 100% of the health insurance premium for full time employees and also offer a dental and vision plan that employees can participate in for a nominal monthly amount. All clinic staff, not just vets, have paid CE opportunities. We have a matching 401K retirement plan. We offer 6 weeks paid maternity leave for employees with one year of service. Education is the key to personal and professional advancement and we offer an annual tuition stipend for staff pursuing degrees that are applicable to the field of veterinary medicine. We offer a relocation stipend for employees moving from out of state. We are offering a $2500 sign on bonus for full-time techs (daytime) and a $5000 sign on bonus for overnight techs! We're also offering a $5,000 moving allowance for out of state candidates.
