Factory Assistant

The White Moustache is a Brooklyn-based creator of artisanal yogurt. You will be joining a team of focused and dedicated individuals who take pride in knowing that each jar, bottle, and box is nothing short of perfection. We make every drop of yogurt in-house using locally-sourced milk, and utilize every drop of whey in innovative products and collaborations that help fight food waste and set an industry example.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Factory Assistant to join our team and support the efficient operations of our inventory, compliance, and production processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with department managers, assist with human resources tasks, and provide essential office management support. Key responsibilities include monitoring the usage of jars, lids, labels, tracking supplies, managing purchase orders, assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, and maintaining accurate HR files. Additionally, the Factory Assistant will liaise between the sales manager and delivery team for real-time problem-solving, as well as Farmers Market Operations, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
A successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They should demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic. Proficiency in clerical procedures, recordkeeping, and time management is essential. The ability to meet deadlines and manage a flexible schedule is required. Foreign language skills, particularly in Spanish, Farsi, French, or Arabic, are preferred.
