My client is a general contractor located in the Chicago, IL. Over the past few years, they have expanded their presence across the Midwest significantly and have become more heavily involved in larger government/federal projects. They pride themselves on the ability to take on any project type or complexity and deliver quality results. They work on both ground-up and renovation projects in various sectors. Creating a supportive culture is a key factor to their success, so the ideal candidate is someone who works hard and lift others up.

Job Description Oversee and run projects from preconstruction phase through closeout Organize business development meetings when necessary Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures Assist Senior PMs with client meetings - establish long-standing relationships w/ clients Creates and reviews project schedules Coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site Travel when necessary (once a month per project) Create positive/welcoming work environment for teams MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant At least 5+ years of experience in the construction industry Must have project experience with government and/or federal projects Bachelor's degree preferred (degree in construction is a plus) Heavy estimating experience is a plus Organized and able to effectively communicate Creative/fun personality Prior experience interacting with clients What's on Offer Base salary $100,000 - $130,000 Bonus opportunities based on project completion Healthcare Dental Vision PTO (3 weeks) Maternity/ paternity leave Life insurance Car allowance Cellphone allowance 401-k match Creative/fun work environment
