Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
Essential Functions: · Document guidelines and best practices based on past experience to improve processes and/or methodologies. · Responsible for customer interaction, work on projects with the team and be willing to mentor other employees. · Contributes to development of new concepts from initial design to market release. · Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of product development. · Coordinates activities with suppliers and consultants to ensure the delivery of supplies or services needed to meet scheduled timelines. · Participates in client meetings. Proactively communicates with team to ensure an ongoing two-way exchange of information. · Any other duties as assigned. · Ensure all site commissioning is conducted in a safe manner with accurate JHAs in use and appropriately trained personnel on site using proper PPE per task. · Setup monitoring and communications configuration on site utilizing various computer interface programs including tracker commissioning where required. · Ensuring all work on site will be carried out in compliance with statutory, corporate and client procedures, guidelines, and protocols. · Familiar with industry standard static and dynamic commissioning check out forms, turn over documentation, understand red line drawings, as-built drawings, and the ability to complete required documentation accurately and legible. · Troubleshoot and drive corrective actions during performance validation for each site including component replacement and perform minor equipment repair. · Be able to safely conduct a lock-out/tag-out procedure on each piece of equipment, line and device in the field · Knowledge in working with electrical control systems. · Must be able to work with little supervision, maintain a positive working relationship with fellow team members and other departments be able to demonstrate proper care of tools and instruments required to complete various jobs.
