Job Description
The Finance Manager, FP&A supports key workstreams associated with AbbVie's Quarterly Earnings Calls, Board of Directors (BOD) & Executive Leadership Team (ELT) packages, Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) Metrics, and Entity Plan. This role liaises with multiple cross-functional stakeholders within Finance and has opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership through the CFO. This role interacts with all levels of finance and business management providing planning deliverables to meet requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional Finance stakeholders to plan, track, and analyze AbbVie's Cash Conversion Cycle metrics (i.e., DPO, DSO, DOH) for monthly reviews, Plan, LBEs and LRP.
* Assist with producing key analytics for BOD, ELT, Leadership Forum and other management packages.
* Prepare quarterly earnings package used by executives and Investor Relations during earnings calls
* Collaborate with Investor Relations to produce analytics that inform LBEs, Quarterly Flash, LRP, Plan and BOD package publications.
* Support entity forecast consolidation and modeling for Plan / LBE / LRP, including Intercompany Reconciliations, Deferred Margin analysis and Performance vs Entity reconciliation.
* Compile a comprehensive monthly Executive Goal Grading Reporting Package.
* Liaise with Procurement to compile a quarterly Consulting spend analysis.
* Support leaders in driving high visibility special project(s).
* Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles, Growth Metrics, R&D Analytics, peer comparison) as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.
* Minimum 7+ years of progressive and related experience.
* Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with all levels of management and including the ability summarize financial analyses.
* Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Knowledge of BPC, PowerBI, and W-Desk a plus.
