Financial Analyst
Work location: Guaynabo Branch
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect, maintain, analyze and evaluate risks, due diligence documents and monitor/control measures to assist in the management, selection or renewal of Third Party Relationships (TPR).
Perform and report critical vendors/TPR due diligence and risk assessment results periodically, as assign by Supervisor.
Develop and maintain a formal contract management process, keep track of contracts cancellation deadlines, critical documents due dates and vendors/TPR periodic review.
Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure vendors/TPR comply with contractual terms and conditions, and/or assemble mandatory documentation required by Law regulations.
Verify and analyze prices, charges, products, and services periodically to determine if they are correct or reasonable, as stipulated in the contract or invoice.
Conduct and report due diligence results prior a new contract or renewal contract to existing vendors/TPR.
Develop and maintain a competitive bid/request for proposals to process, analyze and evaluate them with the related budget to assist in the selection/renewal.
Propose possible strategies for negotiations to the Supervisor about agreements, prices and/or contract terms.
Develop and establish Key Performance Indicators and Risk Scores for existing vendors/TPR.
Understand policies and apply consistent processes, documentation and methods associated with the approval/renewal of vendors/TPR contracts.
Maintain a strategic relationship and periodic communication with vendors/TPR and/or assist with vendors troubleshooting for adequate solution.
Participate in meetings with staff and vendors to discuss issues affecting products/services and propose possible solutions.
Be aware of employees' opinion and/or feedback on vendor's products or services to properly evaluate their quality.
Develop, collect, and maintain financial reports, trend analysis, graphics and comparisons by asset/liability groups, transactions, asset quality, yields, costs, and others.
Improved financial data by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and/or recommend actions to Supervisor.
Participate in education and training activities as needed.
Employee shall also perform such other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Education and/or Experience:
This job requires a
bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems.
Possess at least two to three years of related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,200.00 - $52,000.00 per year
