General Description
Prepare financial statements, notes to financial statements, and regulatory reports. Manage monthly closing processes, including variance explanations and required analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy of financial reports and related analysis.
Prepare quarterly notes to financial statements, as required.
Analyze reports and/or transactions to determine corresponding journal entries.
Analyze financial data and identify trends and variances.
Prepare monthly/quarterly variances reports to be submitted to corporate units.
Prepare monthly/quarterly regulatory reports (internal and external) assigned, ensuring accuracy and submission in compliance with due dates.
Support the operations and internal business units in the solution of outstanding items in general ledger and other consultations.
Responsible to keep updated Sox Control matrix of the unit.
Prepare quarterly Sox 302 Certifications required of the unit.
Support auditing processes (internal and external) by providing requested information on time and ensure accuracy.
Manage annual process of management fees with subsidiaries. Lead communication with business units, calculation, agreements, and budget.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and other analysis as requested by management.
Actively participate in initiatives and special projects as required.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Experience
At least two to three years of experience in full accounting cycle and preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Other Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting principles (accounting entries, analysis of subsidiaries, intercompany transactions, among others).
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player and work collaboratively.
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (verbal/written).
Proficiency in the use of tools, such as: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Power BI, Teams, Planner, SAP, among others.
